Built-IN SECURITY

We have kids in college ourselves, and we worry about their safety and security as all parents do.

Knowing that our residents are young adults who are living on their own for the first time, we built a high level of security into The Laurel. This helps our residents live more comfortably and securely, and helps their parents worry less.

First order of business is doing away with physical keys - who wants to think about prior-residents and where their keys are still floating around? Building-access locks as well as private room locks in The Laurel are RF keyless entry, authenticating each individual resident for their appropriate access only. In fact, a series of two building-level entry doors (one downstairs at street-level, and one upstairs) must be engaged to gain access to the residences. Next, all building entries are monitored by camera to enable supervision of the building exterior at all times. And lastly, our service model includes a weekly cleaning of public areas and regular servicing of equipment.

Our staff is an integral part of The Laurel on Pacific, and the safety of our residents is our #1 priority.
